CHIHUAHUA
In one of the country's border states, we have a prodigy for us photographers. Within the Sierra de Chihuahua, we find lakes, rivers, waterfalls and valleys that will allow us to know and capture one of the great parts of the true Mexican essence. Among all these elements and being one of the best places in the entire Mexican Republic for landscape photography and especially the photography of the Milky Way, you will get to know the Chepe, a train that travels the Chihuahua-Pacific route going back through the Copper Canyon.
The Garciaferro Team photographic team invites you to our special workshop to learn and learn about landscape and nature photography at a level you never thought possible.
CHIHUAHUA
ITINERARY
- To start the workshop, we met as a group in the city of Chihuahua.
- We begin the workshop by moving to the Basaseachi waterfall where we will have access to one of the darkest skies in Mexico and the best photos of the Milky Way.
We will take the sunrise from La Cascada. We will travel to Creel and take photos in Los Monjes with the enigmatic rocks.
We will visit Arareco, where we will have long exposure reflections. We will also be at the Cascada de Cusárare, another of the waterfalls where we will have long exposures. We will take photos of the Milky Way in Lake Arareco to have the stars reflected.
We will take the tour in the Chepe. We will arrive at the Divisadero and the Copper Canyon. We will take the sunset and the Milky Way in Copper Canyon.
We will move to the Park within Barrancas. Here we will have a totally different view.
We will take photos in the Mennonite fields where we will carry out the closing of the workshop. In this way we will have finished with this experience.

WORKSHOP BASICS
In case of not having any element, be it a camera, tripod, lenses or filters, GarciaferroTeam takes care of everything. We can rent you all the equipment that is necessary.
It must be an interchangeable lens camera. Preferably a recent fully manual operation, regardless of whether it is low or intermediate range.
The tripod is one of the essential tools for this workshop. Given that the vast majority of accidents with cameras are due to a lack of knowledge and practice with the equipment, we recommend bringing a good tripod that is fully mastered, especially since we will work at night it will demand the most of us and our team.
Within the workshop we cover both telephoto and wide angle ends. Wide angles (14-20mm) are recommended for the entire nightscape. Likewise, we recommend the use of a medium telephoto (70 to 400 mm) given to the fauna that can be witnessed during the workshop.
Given that this workshop will take multiple photography of sunrise and sunset, together with reflections in the lakes, we consider the use of filters an essential tool to obtain better results and cleaner photography.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Because it is high season, services should be anticipated well in advance. In case of cancellation by the participant, the payment will not be refundable. It can be transferable with an administrative charge of 20%, all this up to 15 days in advance of the event.
If the event is canceled due to causes beyond our control, such as adverse weather issues or events of insecurity at the location, the date of the workshop will be rescheduled to a date convenient for both parties.
