Among the special Garciaferro international workshops we find the Canadian photography workshop. This workshop will consist mainly of nature photography within the Banff and Jasper National Parks which will allow us to enter the emblematic regions, where we will find elements such as lakes, rivers, pines and the most impressive mountainous structures. A very special element within the workshop will be the green tapestries of pines and trees that are spread throughout the workshop, giving each photograph a certain and subtle beauty.
Likewise, we will visit urban regions in the midst of nature, contrasting the difference and allowing the photograph of the fusion of both opposing elements, thus joining the rural with the urban.

ITINERARY
- Es el día que comienza esta gran aventura por el parque nacional mas grande de Canadá, Banff. El taller comenzará en Calgary para reunirnos como grupo y tener todo listo para los siguientes días de aventura.
- Comenzaremos por trasladarnos temprano por la mañana hasta el parque nacional donde dormiremos las siguientes 3 noches. Banff es nuestro sitio favorito para las fotografías de paisaje y nocturnas, un inncreíble experiencia atravesar las famosas Rocky Mountains. Viendo todo lo mejor de lo mejor con increíbles picos todo el tiempo. Nos tomaremos el día para llegar y veremos el atardecer en el Lago Minnewanka.
- Comenzaremos el día con Two Jack Lake que se encuentra junto del lago Minnewanka, un sinfín de montañas y picos acompañados de unos increíbles amaneceres. Durante el día recorreremos parte del parque para llegar a Lake Louise y Moraine Lake. Las 2 joyas que han dado la vuelta al mundo, lugares y vistas que solo ves en rompecabezas, aquí el atardecer y el anochecer.
Arrancamos camino al norte, buscando el amanecer en Vermilion Lakes, otra de las populares vistas que podemos ver a los alrededores de Banff, continuando con el mirador de Banff.
A lo largo de este día nos vamos a trasladar con rumbo de Jasper, uno de los días mas ricos del taller. La carretera a Jasper ya es increible con las vistas, curvas y carreteras, pero tendremos Peyto Lake, Bow Lake y mucho mas en donde haremos fotografías todo el día. Una gran oportunidad de usar filtros ND.
En nuestro último día en Banff, aprovechamos para ir a los lugares secretos de Banff, muy cómodos y muy cerca de la población. En este día comenzamos el regreso a Calgary en donde finalizará nuestro taller.
Dormimos en Calgary.
- Regreso a casa y clausura del taller con fotografías de arquitectura en el centro financiero de Calgary.

WORKSHOP BASICS
In case of not having any element, be it a camera, tripod, lenses or filters, GarciaferroTeam takes care of everything. We can rent you all the equipment that is necessary.
It must be an interchangeable lens camera. Preferably a recent fully manual operation, regardless of whether it is low or intermediate range. Since we will be using a large number of the camera's functions, we recommend having sufficient prior knowledge of the camera, so as not to have problems with the settings.
The tripod is one of the essential tools for this workshop. Given that the vast majority of camera accidents are due to a lack of knowledge and practice with the equipment, we recommend bringing a good tripod that is fully mastered, especially since we will work at night, it will demand the best of us and our team.
Within the workshop we cover both telephoto and wide angle ends. Wide angles (14-20mm) are recommended for the entire nightscape. In the same way, a medium telephoto (70 to 400 mm) is recommended for the fauna that we can find within the National Parks. GIVEN TO THE ACTIVITY OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS, WE CONSIDER THE INDISPENSABLE WIDE ANGLE.
Through the nature landscapes of the workshop, we will have multiple encounters with water and very clear skies. Likewise, we will take a lot of photography of sunrises and sunsets, so in our professional opinion we highly recommend its use.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Because it is high season, services should be anticipated well in advance. In case of cancellation by the participant, the payment will not be refundable. It can be transferable with an administrative charge of 20%, all this up to 45 days in advance of the event.
If the event is canceled due to causes beyond our control, such as adverse weather issues or events of insecurity at the location, the date of the workshop will be rescheduled to a date convenient for both parties.
