In the south of Mexico City, there is a reserved place that hides a series of channels that keep very special landscapes. These channels are traveled by the locals in the emblematic trajineras, which with their colors, give a unique effect to all those moments that take place here. The Xochimilco workshop is a long exposure workshop.
In this new Garciaferro workshop, you will have the opportunity to meet and capture impressive shots of the sunset and sunrise, over these ancient canals. While at dusk our companion will be the moon, at dawn the Iztaccíhuatl volcano will accompany us, giving a unique touch to your photographs.

ITINERARY
Tomaremos fotos de paisaje y de larga exposición con filtros de densidad neutra. Tendremos fotografías nocturnas sobre los canales de Xochimilco. Cenaremos ahí mismo y terminaremos con mas fotos nocturnas en la zona
We will take the road to Xochimilco in the morning. We will have the sunrise over Iztaccíhuatl from the trajinera.
Tendremos fotografía de aves en los canales después del amanecer.
We will have breakfast on the canals in the trajinera. We will return to the hotel and we will have the closing of the workshop.

WORKSHOP BASICS
In case of not having any element, be it a camera, tripod, lenses or filters, GarciaferroTeam takes care of everything. We can rent you all the equipment that is necessary.
It must be an interchangeable lens camera. Preferably a recent fully manual operation, regardless of whether it is low or intermediate range.
Given that the vast majority of camera accidents are due to a lack of knowledge and practice with the equipment, we recommend bringing a good tripod that is fully mastered, especially since we will work at night, it will demand the best of us and our team.
Dentro del taller abarcamos los dos extremos telefotos y grandes angulares. Se recomienda grandes angulares (14 a 20 mm) para todo el paisaje y filtros. Un telefoto es indispensable para las fotos de aves en el amanecer(200-500 mm). RECUERDA… Si no tienes telefoto, nosotros tenemos uno en renta para tí.
Tendremos filtros de densidad neutra GarciaferroGear en demo durante el taller, pero si prefieres puedes rentar unos exclusivamente para tí.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
El taller inicia en el Hotel City Express Plus Periférico Sur el sábado 11 de diciembre al medio día.
Because it is high season, services should be anticipated well in advance. In case of cancellation by the participant, the payment will not be refundable. It can be transferable with an administrative charge of 20%, all this up to 15 days in advance of the event.
If the event is canceled due to causes beyond our control, such as adverse weather issues or events of insecurity at the location, the date of the workshop will be rescheduled to a date convenient for both parties.
